My grades dipped then got better? Am I out of the college game?

All through high school I have taken honors and then my junior year I took all honors and 2 APs and this year I am taking all honors and 4 APs.

Point is I started off high school strong (All A's and B's my Freshmen and Sophomore year) Then my junior year I had a super hard time in my advanced Chemistry and Trig classes and then worrying about maintaining C's at least in those while worrying about every other class was impossible. So I end the year with 1 A, 2 B pluses, 3 C pluses, and a D plus (my Trig final pushed me one point out of the C range) but if you just look at my semester grades I had straight B's. I know it sounds weird but I screwed up on exams big time. And I studied too. I just spent so much time studying for Trig and Chem, I didn't do enough everywhere. Else.

There's nothing I can do about those grades now. I was too late for summer school when I received my final grades so all I could do is improve.

If I get all A's this semester can I still be a viable candidate. I'm especially looking at James Madison University.

My GPA is a 3.4 and I'm I'm the top 25% of my class as of now. That will go up after this semester.
