So, due to financial situations, and Family matters, I will have to start in Summer if I get accepted. since I had originally applied for Summer, than applied for fall per my idiotic guidance counselor, should I call UCF admissions? I am not spending yet more money to apply AGAIN for Summer. I submitted it a while ago, but do you think it is ok to call? any ideas, I know they say if you get in for fall you can go for summer, but I can't risk it. due to the situation I am in.

thanks guys!!

Calm down!!! And yes, you should call them… we can’t really help you with this matter. Btw, I totally understand what you are saying by the mean office staff over the phone. This is why I never call, I just email. But if this is an emergency and you are that worried, then you need to call them in order to clear this up asap.

Good luck!!

Thank you! How long does it usually take for them to get back with you via email? I was going to send it in the morning and explain my situation. I just want my original summer application to be reviewed. I am going to call them but, last time I did to check that my transcript was received. I sent 3, because they kept getting “lost” the woman made me feel so dumb and made me cry. her words exactly. No I can’t tell you your admissions status. no hello how can I help you or anything. =(

I would say no longer than a week. But you never know, as I’d be expecting them to be receiving a lot of emails around this time. Just call them! If you get someone rude, just take a deep breath and try to solve the problem. It can’t hurt, it’s just via phone! Don’t sound demanding or anything, just kindly ask them to help you.
