My last essay question (Macalester college)

I have one last essay question. (1/15 deadline)

It's for Macalester College.
Apparently this question is only for International students.

"Describe a situation where you have had to work or closely associate with someone from a culture very different from your own. What challenges did you face and how did you resolve them?"

To be honest, I really had no challenge even though I lived in 5 different countries. I learned two new languages, but still didn't really experience cultural difference that caused problems.

What should I do?!?

Perhaps you could illustrate how you adapted well even though there were subtle cultural differences, that kind of thing? I mean, there are always differences, even though very little. You could also say a bit about how learning new languages helped you adjust.

:) Hope this helps.

I think you're taking the word 'challenges' in the wrong context. They don't mean a situation where you had to suffer a lot or your work your ass off. It's geared more towards describing an experience that made you think about your own culture, how it correlates with other cultures and what happens when it does, so it doesn't necessarily have to be problematic.
