Well, my point is.
THAT is the question you really should be asking.
Also, to add on to what I said before.
If you don't expect a huge jump on your SAT I's, like a 2100, then really, do your SAT II's. Even if you do have a huge jump, I still say you should look everything over with like a guidance counselor (open during summer?).

no, the thing is... all those colleges, they're like all tier 1. Don't look at not having SAT II's as being a small problem, it's a bigger problems than what I think about your schools.

with SAT II's you could really reach some better colleges, without them, even those colleges you listed, a lot of them could potentially reject you.

na they arent...but i definatly considered wut u were syaing before and the reason why i chose these schools was because i want to go into pre-med. And every school on the list i believe i can really excel in and stand out. And they are still good schools. I feel like if i got into a top top tier 1 school (georgetown for instance) i would struggle and my grades would kill me for med school.

Im actually very content with the schools i listed though. Ive visited many tier 1 schools and just didnt feel like i fit in. Im kind of a laid back kind of guy and im just not interested in being that competative. THats the vibe i got with the top top schools...so thats why i chose thsse, im very comfortble there and i fit in.

I will definatly consider wut u said and will try to speak to my GC about em, but wut do u think of the schools i have now

all of them are tier 1 except for villanova. Well... what I think about your colleges is that most of them are good shots. Some of them are reaches, especially with no SAT II scores. UNC, Wake Forest, Penn State, and maybe even a few more may be impressed with your E.C.'s but dissapointed with your SAT I score, and the fact that you have no SAT II to give them.
However, that's only my opinion, and as I already told you, I'm an average senior, and I know not a lot more than you do, I just come from a different angle.

none of those schools require SAT II's and none use them as a factor in the admission process. They said not having them wouldnt hurt u, its just supplementary

I personally think you have a good chance at all of those colleges except for UNC, NYU, Notre Dame (um...), GW, and BU. Your SAT looks fine to me and probably for the other colleges as well.

whered NYU come from lol...and id replace UNC for notre dame

but idk im getting mixed messages from alot of people about my chances at BU and GW

ya think Wake Forest and UNC consider SAT II "supplementary"? lol.
Well, reallly, even the SAT I, resume, and teacher recommendations and all E.C.'s are all supplementary.
Well, whatever, your choice dude,
I appreciate you being polite to my comments, and it's your future. In the end, you'll decide for yourself, and accepted or not, may things go well wit ya.

any more opinions?!

George Washington - Accepted

Wake Forest - Rejected, maybe if your lucky waitlisted

Northeastern University - EASYILY Accepted

Penn State - Accepted

Villanova - Waitlist (Unless you apply to Arts and Science or Nursing.)

James Madison - Accepted

Uconn - EASILY ACCEPTED

American University - Accepted

UNC-Chapel Hill - No Chance -- You know why!

Boston Univ. - Rejected to Communications or Business Accepted - Other Schools

I don't usually disagree with Carolyn, but I put Penn State as a safety. I've seen local kids get accepted to Happy Valley with nothing but college prep classes -- they enjoyed their four years of high school. LOL

about James Madison...you'd get in but you wouldn't get generous aid. I don't know what that person was talking about. I don't want to go through your whole list because I think you have a chance everywhere and I feel like what people are saying is discouraging you! You have amazing ECs and your GPA is really great and your SATs are not bad...and you still have time to do SAT IIs or whatever. Good luck :)

rejected to wake? They have a 50% acceptance (or high 40's) and i am in their SAT range...my EC'S are probably better then 90% of those that apply.

Im just curious as to why u say that.
