yea doogie, u didnt answer my question, r u conservative. becuz if ur notre dame should be fine, but if you are liberal or even moderate, I dont know how u would like life at U of Notre Dame.

id consider myself conservative, and im catholic

i dont think being conservatives matters much at all.

um it does at notre dame. by the way notre dame should be a good fit for you then much better than unc-chapel hill. Primitive, can u picture an extreme liberal type at an old fashioned, parochial, conservative school like ND. To reiterate, yes Notre dame should replace UNc on your list because u would have a better chance getting accepted and it;s more up your allie politically.

any more opinions?

hey doggie come back to the liberal thread your opposing stance makes things interesting.....lol

any comments about my list of schools

o yes good list, i like brown, amherst, tufts, bard, macalester, wesleyan and some others.....

buummmpppppp

I'm not sure how much more liberal UNC-Chapel Hill is than ND. It may not be Catholic, but, it is the flagship university of a fairly moderate to conservative state. I think the faculty may be more liberal than the student body.

wut r ur opinions on GW, am i in or rejected?

no offense but those are reaches. VCU is a good match for you since you seem to like cities, its really like college campussy but in a city. you'll almost definitely get in and its about half liberal half conservative, really friendly people. also it sounds like you have a thing for science and they have an awesome life sciences and physical sciences building which takes up a whole city block in richmond. look into it, you have a way better shot there than at wake or GW (no offense you don't really fit the prof @ wake at all) and you may even get money.

These are all reaches?? Granted UNC i will prob not get into because im OOS, but i am in the middle 50% for most of those schools...for the others im above their middle 50%.

Plus i have 2 very key hooks. Also, how do you know what my "profile" is...i just put my stats on here. This says nothing about who I am, or my profile...it may say i like to do volunteer work but thats it.

It seems to me that you have no idea about any of these schools...Dont post if you really have no idea what you are talking about.

Doogie, people like you bother me so much. You come on these threads asking for opinions from CC'ers on what your chances of admissions are to colleges. When someone gives you a response that you don;t like you criticize them, dismiss their sentiments, and lash out. If you are so sure about your chances at the schools on your list, then don;t WASTE OUR TIME asking us what we think. Totallysweet was trying to help you and giving you advice, and you're response was uncalled for and disrespectful in my opinion.

i am not sure about my chances.

But when someone else posts who is in no position to make a judgement, especially one with no reasoning and that is just way off, then I too get upset.

I would be more then willing to listen to totally sweet if she explained to me why she made such judgements about my "profile" or my lack of a chance at GW or Wake Forest.

As you can see, with the rest of my responses on this post, I was grateful, and was interested in what the other posters had to say, because they had basis for their responses. Totallysweet however, just said they were all reaches, when according to the facts, they really arent.

Im sure you can agree that it is bothersome when people have no grounds for making such comments.

I apologize if what i said may have seemed cold and sarcastic, but I would honestly rather hear from people who can actually give me answers backed with facts/reasons.

Wouldnt you agree with me?

If you don't like what they have to say, don't respond. Don't be rude. Don't say they are dumb just because they have an opinion here.

GreenDayFan hit the nail on the head. If you are asking for advice, don't discredit people's opinions, when you were asking for it!

Not all schools go by the stats. If Totallysweet thought you're schools were reaches, then that's their opinion. Maybe their criteria was different than your's.

Just because you are the middle 50% doesn't mean squat. I like to put people in the top 25% OOS, because the top students at schools are from OOS. If a school has 18% OOS, then about 5% are athletes, and the other 13% the top students. You being in the 50% actually means it's a reach for you.

besides UNC (which im no longer applying to as of last month) none of the other schools on my list are state schools so being OOS doesnt matter.

What do you guys think of my chances then? I know totallysweets opinion.

you've asked your chances several threads already and you always get the same answer. nonetheless, ignore the people who say you won't get anywhere because they are SAT obsessed, as this site generally is.

lol yea ive noticed...the schools constantly change tho...im just curious is all

is ur GPA weighted?
