My parents are living apart, and my college wants proof, we have none.

<p>That is what we would resort to if all else failed. We try to collect bills, driver’s license address, proof of insurance, or anything that would show the person lived at another address on the last day of the year. There are rare occasions where we can’t get anything because the person legitimately couch surfs … we do request a signed statement from the person with whom that parent lives, as well as from that parent.</p>

<p>Of course that person signing the affidavit needs to be abundantly honest.</p>

<p>Sometimes we just do the best we can do!</p>

Hello, sorry to bring this up again but I’m applying for financial aid and i wanted to know would the address on my mother’s income tax be sufficient (lives separately)?
