<p>I agree with most of the posters here. Meet with your advisor immediately and see what it will take to end up with a double major (English and Psych).</p>
<p>Then use that double major (or alternatively English major with strong outside base of Psych courses) and go get a masters degree or go directly into the “bachelors to doctorate” program somewhere.</p>
<p>Bottom line is that even though you appear to love Psych, you won’t be able to practice in that field without at least a masters (or actually an Ed Specialist which is Masters +30 to be a School Psych) or likely a doctoral degree.</p>
<p>So, pining over not getting a degree in Psych is no big thing as to actually make a living in that field you’ll need to get additional degrees in it.</p>
