For ap us im already ahead and im done with the first 10/40 chapters of the american pageant. I will finish the book before school starts so by jan. I can take the history sat and be prepared for the ap in may.

Review books: Amsco + direct hits USH in a flash (I will read these after reading the textbook)

For ap world history im gonna retake to bump dat 4 up to a 5. I already have a solid understanding of everythin so im gonna read chapter summaries of my textbook through out the year and stay alert about the possible essay topics.

Review books: ??? no idea any suggestions for good ones?

what else would you reccomend? And yeah this plan might be a little overkill.

Are you taking an AP U.S. History class? I took the SAT II the day after the AP exam and it was fine. You might be better off doing that unless you are worried about being overloaded with tests.

Best review book for WHAP(The AP test, not the subject test) is Princeton Review. Got a 5 thanks to it!

Yeah, im gonna take it this year when school starts. Im just reading ahead.

Thanks. I read the princeton reviews and it looks like it will be the only thing I really need now to get a 5.

Is it really worth the money to bump a 4 to a 5? o.O And are you self-studying APUSH or are you enrolled in a class? My plan looks similar to yours, except it will be my first time taking WHAP, since I was in an honors course last year because my school doesn’t offer AP. I just skimmed through PR APUSH and read some passages from the American Pageant, but I will be taking the class this year.

In history ap’s, its easier to get a 5 as in you dont really need a class. Just a good review book. Also some people who never took the class got a 5 so I feel like I can do it. Money isnt the problem as long as its a 5.

As for USH, yeah im taking the class. Im already into the 18th century and read 200 pages in my textbook and schools starts in well over a month.
