My Recurring Nightmare

I've recently been having this dream where I check my status on Dec 15.

and it says

Application Status: "LOL!!!"

Then i find a letter in the mail saying they've wired my money back with a note that says

"We are extremely amused by your joke of an application. We have returned your application fee, and hope that you will send you real application before the RD deadline.

P.S.- Particularly entertaining was how u did not say "Nobel Price Winner" under achievements."

Comfort me, please.

xD I love your dream....

lol ok, comfort time. I had a dream where I was in the middle of school when the decision suddenly became printed on my shirt for everyone to see. In big block letters: REJECTED.

The comforting part? At least your dream was funny, mine was depressing >.>

awww,
We should have shirts printed that say
"I was deferred/rejected at Yale" on the front and our CC usernames on the back

Yes, then have a huge get-together in New Haven where we all wear our shirts. :P

well, look on the bright side...at least you got your money back :)

Come on guys, cheer up. If you get rejected, remember you have just done one of the most selective things in your life. You got rejected by YALE. How many students in the USA alone can claim that every year? 22,000 out of 3.2 million!

Ur absolutely right!
being rejected by yale is only slightly less selective than being a National Merit Semifinalist.

Lol, put that on your resume from now on: "Rejected from Yale."

^^^ Hm, this is true OneKing. This is true.

And I think putting that on my resume would get me a job anywhere. In fact, after Monday, I'm applying to work at NASA. I hate science, but maybe they will look past this fact when they see that I was rejected from Yale.

"This girl's got talent! Rejected from YALE??? She's perfect! Let's go give her her first $1million pay check, eh?"

Lol, frame it up all nice.

"International Yale Regular and Single Choice Entry Competition of Elite Students: Rejected with honors"

^^ LMAO! Oh you guys are great.

Add in like a subscript

Please Note: "The percentage of applicants rejected in the SCEA round is even less than the percentage accepted."

Yes! Then they will truly recognize my genius!

Yup yup yup. And for proof, we'll proudly show 'em our Honorable Rejections letter, from the Yale Dean himself!

oneking -- thanks for making me smile!!!

oh - i actually had a nightmare recently when my yale interviewer turned out to be a cannibal (who had a sex change) and tried to slash my tires as i went away to eat me.... bad omen? i must have had a lot of things on my mind that night.
too bad ap psych doesn't do dream analysis.....

"Look! It's authentic! It even says my name and everything!"

No Yale dreams, but I have had two Harvard related dreams thus far.

One where I visited Harvard, it was this brilliant shining castle of light. Then I got rejected, by every college, and ended up going to some nowhere school no one's ever heard of before.

Last night I dremt that everyone was checking their admissions decisions, and a bunch of my friends got into Harvard, and I looked on the website and my status was listed as "Oh."

Uh, I really need to start thinking 'bout other things than college.

Haha I think most people's minds are swarmed with college right now. Like me, for instance! I have a bad feeling about my econ test today, and I have an orchestra concert as well, not to mention I'm celebrating my birthday today just in case the decision comes out on my real birthday date!

I haven't had any college dreams, but I do have daydreams =D

I keep on having a recurring dream in which I am at jazz band practice on Monday (which we do not even have on Monday, so this dream lacks accuracy) and we get snowed in without power. So I do not find out at all because there is no cell service in my school. It is a terrible nightmare.
