My rejection

<p>Well this is a chances thread so I guess ill post my stats after i got rejected ED
SAT 1 (1 sitting) 730 cr 720 w 690 m (1420)
GPA: 3.4 uw, 4.0 w (school ranked 190 in nation, so pretty damn competitive)
exc: Microsoft internship (400 hours, 2 summers) sent them the rec my boss wrote me
-4 years free tutoring at a local kumon
-2 years tutoring my neighbor but for cash
essays: wrote about Microsoft, wrote it w/ my ap eng teacher who actually helps kids write essays (a side job) so they came out great Dave Berry guy on this site who counsels kids for 89 bucks said my essay was good as well
-recs: teachers liked me alot (ap eng included) but theres no way to really konw
-my major was economics </p>

<p>..and i got rejected flat out ; /. I thoguht i had a decent chance but oh well i got over it : ). gl to rest of u guys, hope this helps u guys form predictions w/ ur stats.</p>

<p>Sorry to hear about Northwestern. You sound like a great kid with lots going for you, and you will wind up at a great school and never look back. I mean it, sincerely.</p>

<p>hahah thanks. I must admit the first rejection always stings and i hope you guys dont have to go through that haha but hopefully u guys will kind of know where you guys stand as well based on my rejection.</p>
