The guy will take 3, sometimes 4, showers a day but I have yet to see him wash his hands after using the bathroom. Simply amazing.

Why? Aren't his privates clean?

how often do you watch him use the bathroom?

considering the door is 5 feet away from my bed, pretty often. don't be a smart ass.

what the hell is the point of this thread, danfromcanada?

there really is no point. the guy drives me absolutely nuts and i don't where else to vent.

LAME. This thread gets 0/38 stars.

I was being sarcastic in my previous post. Like dan, I'm also disgusted when people don't wash their hands after using the bathroom. Do they not touch their privates at all or something and therefore feel no need to wash their hands?

I'm equally bothered (maybe more so) when people sneeze into their hands or when people sneeze out into the open.

That's gross, especially for guys...Oh well, just don't let him touch your things. He clearly just wasn't brought up to wash his hands, even though he seems like a clean guy. Although maybe he's only in the shower that often to do something else besides cleaning...eww...sorry about that

Maybe put up a sign in the bathroom that says "Wash your hands, don't spread germs" as a sort of public service message?

I hate when people don't wash their hands after using the bathroom as well.

This always just reminds me of that Marine-Sailor joke.

dude, think of why a guy might want to be alone in the bathroom 3x a day ...

Let's just put it this way; I'd make sure to rinse down that floor before I stepped on it.

i hope he teabags you when your sleeping

Badgolfer, exactly what I was thinking in post #9...guess it's decided then that the roommate has a skewed view of hygiene procedures

hobo, i hope you die a very slow and painful death for even conjuring up that notion. ofcourse my first thought is that he goes in the shower to jerk it, but i'd rather assume he's just weird.

I can pee without grabbing hold onto my unit.

and in the ****ing olympics that would earn you an 8.6 for creativity but a 2 for accuracy.

One of my friends was actually in those last time. He practices day and night. It must get pretty tiring because he drinks lots and lots of water. It's a tough competition.

I'm actually surprised that so many people in this thread are repulsed by the fact that he doesn't wash his hands.

When using the restroom when no one is around, people usually do not wash their hands. Even when there are other people in the restroom, many people will simply not wash their hands.

Surprisingly, a credible study shows that women are less likely than men to wash their hands after using the restroom.

People do much more nasty things with their hands than NOT wash them. Be repulsed by something other than a lack of hand washing.

I always wash my hands. There is always a little bottle of hand sanatizer in my car, and that goes into my jacket or pants pocket a lot when I get out of the car.

There is a reason this guy got 7 straight years of perfect attendance in school (grades 6-12, yeah I didn't do senior skip day so I could keep the streak going plus I played hooky from my church retreat in eighth grade...barely got confirmed but I didn't want to end the streak). I haven't had a doctor's visit for illness in almost five years, and even then I just went to verify that I had a sinus infection (which I went to school with--no worse than allergies). Aside from a few colds and one case of food poisioning (which I went to work with despite not feeling well) I haven't had a big illness in years.

Along that line, I have never broken anything. And this is a guy who played sports. I credit it to drinking lots of milk and eating lots of greens.

But getting back on track--you guys have to wash your hands. It might take a few seconds to get the hand sanatizer out of your pant pocket, but it's worth it. Especially if you hate going to the doctor (got my menengitis vaccine summer 05 and haven't been to a doc since...my doc actually retired and I have no intent of registering with a new one since I don't even like physicals).
