Hello.
I am a high school sophomore who now just starts to study for SAT. I have 1 year and 3 months to prepare for the test. I am planning to use various prep books and online course to study. Since I was really confused as to what prep book to choose for studying, so I am planning to study all prep books: Barron's, Kaplan's, Princeton Review's, REA's, Petersons, Rocket Review Revolution, Maximum SAT, Blue Book, Barron's & Gruber's/Kaplan's 2400, McGraw Hill's, and Blue Book.
I was planning to choose one prep book+blue book to study first, which I think I will choose Princeton Review. After done with PR and blue book to study for basics, I am planning to skim over all prep books that I mentioned above and choose 3~5 prep books to study (thinking of each prep book for each SAT section). After studying 3~5 prep books, I am planning to buy SAT 2400 series and various practice test books to study until the test date.
Is it good to study Princeton Review and blue book for the first time?
And since I am planning to use 3~5 prep books after completing PR and blue book, which prep books do you recommend? Especially best prep book for each SAT section (including vocabulary and essay subsection)??

I suggest just using what silverturtle recommends in his stickyed thread.

seems a little over the top tbh. You don’t want to stress yourself out by taking practice tests every day for the next year. Too much practice could ultimately harm you come test day.

I recommend the blue book though to start off with. Take the 10 practice tests there plus any concepts you need help with. Then get 1 book at a time. No need to get every one at once

Will you post a link to Silverturtle’s post?? Who is Silverturtle??

Look at the SAT preparations thread. It is a sticky.

Silverturtle is a high school senior.

How long does it take for you to complete one whole SAT prep book (including taking all practice tests in the prep books)…and is it okay to get different SAT prep books for each SAT sections, including vocabulary and essay subparts?
