My school does not rank

Like, at all. No top 10, top 10%, or even top quarter. It doesn't provide any comparison of GPAs either, like the sal or val's GPA. So...would this hurt?

It would not hurt you, if your school doesn't rank. They will simply go off the gpa and stuff. Colleges won't penalize you for the stuff your HS does.

My D's high school changed from ranking to non-ranking last year and it didn't seem to make a difference with the college acceptances of the seniors. If you look at statistics for the rankiing of accepted students at colleges you can see that many high schools don't rank.

However, high schools generally provide a written profile to colleges that goes along with your transcript and talks about your school. From this information the colleges may be able to get an idea of where your GPA is in relation to GPA's of other students at your high school.
