My school doesn't know what to send!

My school is located in Virginia and has never had someone apply to a UC. My Guidance Counselor told me he didnt think he had to send my transcript to the UC school....

Is this true?

Can anyone elaborate on what needs to be sent from the school?

Seriously YOU are applying to UC, NOT your counselors.

[University of California - Admissions - The University of California offers one of the broadest ranges of study of any institution of higher learning in the world, all at an affordable price.](Admissions | University of California)

Yes…I know…This is true but I don’t control what goes in the mail from the school.

Yes you do; tell counselor what to send when you have READ all of the pages

Your school does not have to send transcript to UCs until you decide to go to one of them. I think counselor is right.

Submitting Transcripts

If you are admitted for the fall term, you must arrange to have final, official transcripts sent to the Admissions Office no later than July 15.

Freshman Applicants

If you are admitted, you must arrange to have an official, final high school transcript (showing your date of graduation) sent to the campus where you plan to enroll. Unless a campus requests it, do not send a sixth- or seventh-semester transcript.
