My school got ranked #1

Well my school is private so rankings really don't help.

I just hope they associate "Jesuit school" with rigorous curriculum and well-rounded student body as many do. My school certainly isn't one of the best schools in the country, especially not in the AP category, as a single student is allowed to take a maximum of 10 tests, but we produce some of the most well-rounded young men in the country.

BTW I was accepted to #14 (Newsweek #1) Talented and Gifted and #18 (Newsweek #2) Science and Engineering yet decided that the 50 minute bus ride was just too much.

Top 50 here, hooray...

Our school is nothing like your schools on the east though. Most of us aren't college-frenzied--our school just loves AP tests. We send about 4-5 on average to HYPS each year and probably like 10 others into other ivies and ivy-tier schools. Does that seem average for a "top" high school?

why arent private schools included? The results would be considerably different....
