My Scores - English vs. Reading

<p>Just got my scores...</p>

<p>English - 34
Math - 31
Reading - 21
Science - 24</p>

<p>I don't get it. During the English passages, I can read them and tell you any little detail from it afterwards. But after reading maybe two paragraphs of a reading section, I just don't even know what the passage is about sometimes. </p>

<p>Reading is just destroying my composite score. (Science has been better for me, but reading is always this low). </p>

<p>Why do I have trouble processing the reading but not english?</p>

<p>Taking it again in June.</p>

<p>I had a low reading score and got a tutor. She recommended I read the first paragraph, the topic (first) sentences of the body paragraph, and the conclusion. While you’re reading, jot little notes by the paragraphs so you know where to look if a question asks a specific detail. I haven’t got my scores back, but it cut like 8 minutes off my time.</p>
