My Senior Year Schedule= doable?

My senior year schedule is this:
AP Literature
AP Spanish Literature
AP Calc AB
AP Cambridge
AP Gov (1/2 semester)
AP Econ (1/2 semester)
Journalism
Choir (maybe, auditions are not until May 15...if I don't get into choir, I'll most likely take 1/2 semester of study hall and 1/2 personal finance)

So my school is an academically rigorous magnet high school/ nationally ranked, so the courses are rough. I'm thinking about switching AP Literature to English 4, but I'm still contemplating. I want to still challenge myself, but I don't want to slay myself. In addition to ECs and College apps, I know I'll be super booked, so is my schedule too much or doable?

It may be too much. What are you most interested in? Also, if I may ask, what is AP Cambridge? 0.0

I think it’s too much with the amount of college apps and essays. I’d switch out AP Lit for another English class.

To be honest, you do not really have to go “all out” your senior year.

If you have challenged yourself and taken the most difficult schedule in your first 3 years of high school, you may want to loosen it up for senior year. But, if you think you can handle it, (and you are the only person that can determine that) then by all means proceed!

My junior year schedule is:
Pre-Call Honors
Physics Honors (all the courses at my school is either honors or AP)
AP Language
AP Spanish Language
AP U.S. History
AP Cambridge (it’s a two-year course, and this year is the first year)
Study Hall

AP Cambridge is a course designed by Cambridge University, and my school is part of the pilot program. I think there are about 20 other schools in the world that are also testing the course out. It’s probably one of the best decisions I’ve made in high school, because I’m learning to critically analyze sources for research. Our senior year, we write one giant research paper, which is the only assignment we need to complete. It’s also our AP grade. Junior year, we learn the skills needed to utilize for the giant essay.

I am thinking about switching out AP Lit to English 4 Honors, because after studying Spanish for 4 years, it’d be a waste to not use everything I’ve learn to not emerge myself into hard, Spanish literature.

@skieurope‌ do you think i should continue spanish, though?

@nkimmy It’s up to you. Personally, I would.
