my somewhat unique scenario

I have a weird situation that I don't know if anyone has ever tried.

I am currently at U of M Dearborn, as a freshmen, but began in summer semester. My current GPA is 3.85 as I took Poli Sci and Psych in the summer. Currently, I am taking Anthro, Soc, English, Stats, and Linguistics for 15 credits. I wanted to transfer to U of M Ann Arbor, but for the Winter Semester. I submitted my application and I beleive all my materials, transcripts and what not were just completely recieved. Do you think I have a shot?

College GPA: 3.85
U of M HS GPA: 3.6
ACT: 32
Other Stats: Recieved IB Diploma, have decent EC's, had good ones in HS. I'm pretty confident in my essays. All of the classes I took transfer for credit at Ann Arbor.

Also, if I maintain a 4.0 (Which I hope to do as I understand college more now) and my GPA rises to 3.95 or so at the end of the semester, what shot do I have at U-Chicago (waitlisted last year) or at Northwestern?

Thanks for the ideas!

bump...please gimme sum suggestions

Well, the numbers would be there, so of course you have a shot...

yeah, you have a shot.

at all 3 or just umich?

Even with your current GPA you have a great shot at any of those schools. Northwestern would be the hardest, they only accept 18% of transfers. Chicago accepts 30% and Michigan 45%. But I think you can get in anywhere.
