My story

Okay...so I just registered here at College Confidential, and before I become an active member, I'm going to tell my "educational journey."

Currently: I'm homeschooled, this is my third time.

But anyway:

I turned 14 yesterday (July 5.) I'm starting high school in August, but I'm staying homeschooled. At the moment, I hate the idea of public school... (I'll try to keep this short...)

Elementary school sucked. I isolated myself, and even though my grades were good, my social skills weren't. I was either aruging with other student or beating them up in the schoolyard. Yes, I was a bully. An A+ bully, guess you've never heard of very many of those. But yes I was one. Not very many students liked me. For once school year during that time I went from daily visits to the principal's office to getting good comment remarks on my reports. But, that was because I had two very close friends. After that school year ended, they both left for different states, and different schools, so I went back to my old self.

I started 6th grade in a new school and I did a lot better. Still had good grades, and was very popular. Didn't have many problems at school until 7th grade when I was seperated from all my friends. I developed a deep depression problem b/c of school, and I ended up getting in 5 or 6 fights a week, I was either missing a lot of school or I was getting suspended. I left the middle school in November 2004 when I got into a bad fight, and when the teacher was pulling me off this guy (this was the 3rd time I had beaten him [the student I was fighting] up,) I turned around and clocked him in the mouth.

I started homeschooling, and stayed homeschooled till Feb. 05. I went back to school for six weeks. I didn't like school. I did very good as a homeschooler, awful as a public schooler. From Mar-May 05, I finished 7th grade being homeschooled. Due to the very many days I missed during public school, I barely passed, even though I tested at college reading and math levels.

I started 8th grade last fall, at yet another school. One day, after I had reported a fellow student being targeted in the halls, I was surrounded and threatened with a boxcutter. I ended up fighting each of them, (the ones who had cornered me with the boxcutter) one at a time. I'd say over my school career, (this will be my eleventh school year,) I've been in at least 30, but as many as 50 fights. I have a very aggressive personality, and, though I can't blame all my aggressions on other people, there is room for some.

I've homeschooled since Oct. 05. I will stay homeschooled until at least next fall. At least, so I can get my grades and records into good shape.

Well there ya go. XD

Now I'll go post other stuff.

Welcome. Interesting story! you must be quite the fighter. ;]
well, i'm glad homeschooling is going well for you!
