what are my chances?

GPA is fine, but SAT is a little short- can you re-take?

You have a shot, but you are going to have to identify your hook and communicate that in your essays.

The matriculation rate was higher than expected for this year freshman so next year admission will be way tougher than this year. I think the average SAT might become around 700 per section.

My advice is this-- apply to colleges(NYU,UCLA,Michigan etc) that you want to attend regardless of chance. It's 1000 times more likely that you will get into Harvard than you will win $100 millions lottery ticket. Yet tons of pepole buy lottery tickets.

More importantly, don't expect anything about admission--if you get in, be thankful for it and if you don't, look for other schools that you receive acceptance. Don't get too stressed with college admission andl procrastinate your senior year. You will face enough challenges with much worsened senioritis.
