myBerkeleyApp Question

I was a little confused on which courses to enter under the UC Transferable Courses Summary.

I am currently taking a transferable class during the winter session, and I am not sure if I should put it under in progress.

I have also not included units from my planned classes in the upcoming spring semester.

Is the application just asking for completed courses up until last semester?

Thanks so much :)

Berkeley wants, as well as other UCs during TAU (transfer academic update) in January, for you to update only Fall 2012 grades and any PLANNED courses for Winter and Spring 2013. Whatever classes you’re taking now for the winter and whatever you’re wanting to take in the spring—include it all.

Put everything down. Any courses you are taking now are “in-progress” and any courses you plan to take in Spring are “planned.”

You must submit the completed form before January 31 in order to meet the priority deadline. After that, you may continue to submit changes until the end of March (when you receive your Winter grades and/or if your Spring schedule changes).

@ AskMsSun

Does that mean they also look at your winter grades?

If you get your Winter grades before January 31 and submit them before the deadline, they will be calculated into the GPA used for admission evaluation.
