Excellent! Thanks for the link!

I already see that I missed University of Alberta, that’s the highest ranked Canadian school on the list.

Does this mean that schools on this list have already exhausted their waiting lists? I’m a little confused because the daughter of a work acquaintance is on the waiting list of a school on the list.

boysx3, maybe the school has students on a waiting list, but the waiting list is not that big (e.g., even if everyone on the waiting list accepts (not likely to happen), they may still have open spots)???

Perhaps she should make a phone call and indicate solid interest.

Some good schools in these lists and in post #4^.

Just finished applying to one, should I expect normal wait time?

how do we apply to these schools? is it just the whole common app process again? send in sat/act scores, transcript, etc…?

Neighbor is certainly reiterating her interest…but she was surprised that the school she is on the waitlist of was on the list when she hadn’t heard anything from them. I think she assumed that the school would first try to fill its class by going to the waitlist? But again, it may be looking to fill certain slots to round out the class.

Wait lists are often used to pick off certain talents, like musicians, athletes, etc.

Just an update of new additions that have appeared on the list recently
