I will put it in my College Apps. I have a 4.7/5.0 out of 8 AP exams. Let me know

It won’t matter too much for college admissions. It is just the high GPA and course rigor (assuming non-self study) that will help most.

Everyone gets the AP Scholar award. But I guess it depends where youre applying

I also think it’s a waste of an Awards spot. Since you’re going to list your AP scores anyway, the colleges are going to know that you did well. There’s no point being redundant in my opinion…

I think the AP National Scholar is a great award as a Junior. Of course it will look good on college apps.

I calculated from the AP Scholar Data 2009 that 1,131 American students received the National AP Scholar Award as juniors.

I think the significance is the number of juniors that achieve AP National Scholar in your particular state. In 2009 there were only 20 juniors in my state that achieved this. Most schools look for geographic distribution so if you are one of the few who have accomplished this, it should matter.

This is a great accomplishment. Congrats! I would definitely put it on your college app.

^^Then that sucks for me, for I live in California, where the most of the AP National Scholars resides.
