<p>I was wondering if on the Common App, I had to place down the info of my official school counselor, or whether I could put down the info of another counselor who knows me better.
I asked this other counselor other than my official one to write the recommendations as well.</p>

<p>I asked the other counselor if I was allowed to ask her for recommendations, and she said it was fine.
I didn't ask about the Common App entry, and since it's winter break, I can't ask now.</p>
