Narrowing down and researching transfer options!

Sorry, merit based. She receives around $10,000 per year.

As for the $30,000, my parents are very big into the idea of us paying for things; I have to cover part of the cost. They both come from somewhat self made backgrounds—my dad’s former air force captain turned vital WWII aero-researcher father died at age 9, and he had to live in a rural town for his childhood, after being in cities most his youth—my mother came from a stay at home mom and a hardworking father.

Admittedly, this is already a large sum of money and one shouldn’t expect such a contribution, but I won’t lie, I’m a bit resentful. Almost all of my peer’s parents will cover their college, as they can afford it, and don’t want their children going into debt. The kids whose parents cant afford it end up receiving financial aid for at least part, if not all of it anyways.

First world problems I guess.
