is it common for juniors to have 8 ap tests or do people usually get this distinction at the end of highschool?

I doubt it’s common, but it’s not that extraordinary, either. I plan on getting it by the end of my junior year. I’ve taken Stats and U.S History last year (unfortunately only a 4 on both), but taking Calc AB, Gov’t & Pol, Micro, English Language, and two easy self-studies, Psych and Env. Science. I’ll self-study some more difficult ones my senior year.

I think you managed to pick the easiest APs lol.

Yeah, I’m still trying to see if self-studying is a good idea. If I end up getting 3s or 4s on the easy ones (I doubt it, but you never know), I’m not going to go for more difficult ones later. But if I do well, I might do European History, Bio, Comp. Gov’t, and maybe one of the Physics. I’ve still got time to decide.
