National AP Scholar

Since 8 AP's is required, I was wondering if tests like AP Physics B and AP Physics C or AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC count as separate exams? Thanks!

Yes, they do. Also, the two physics C exams are counted separately as well.

What school do you go to? (Don't worry, I know you don't go to mine)

They do, but you're not allowed to take both Physics exams or both Calculus exams in the same year.

But you are allowed to take the 2 Physics C exams and have them count as two, right?

You can't take the two calc exams, but you can take all three physics exams in one year, right?

Sorry, yes you're allowed to take all 3 Physics exams, but since they're at the same time, you'll need to take a conflict exam.

What about macro/mirco econ.? and how important is it really to get national ap scholar?

same with comp/us govt.... they they each count as one?

Macro/micro and comp/US each count separately.

National AP Scholar doesn't mean too much. It's not worth the hundreds of dollars it costs.

I agree - I am a Nat'l AP scholar and am not exactly being showered with garlands. Maybe honors programs at state schools will give you credit/money but I doubt the sort of places CCers shoot for will care.
