<p>DS received Buckeye and Provost today in Colorado.</p>
<p>@Nurse66, I applied Business and Management, however I didn’t do Honors or Scholars. I’m considered based on Merit. :)</p>

<p>Hey, seriously, don’t worry. Like, EVERYONE got the scholars notification before me, so I didn’t think I had gotten in. And then I did just two days ago! This stuff is weird, It just makes us all worry. But I’ll bet you’ll get it in no time! Maybe it was something with the mail delivery after they sent it? Really, don’t fret. :)</p>
<p>benh10: When the Admissions office opens on Tuesday, call and ask them to see if a letter was generated for your OSU id. When I called in, the person I spoke with was able to tell me that a letter was mailed to my daughter on 1/14. She couldn’t tell me what scholarships were being offered but at least we knew that a letter was on its way.</p>
<p>got my letter today and received the natl buckeye scholarship and the trustees. Pretty disappointed considering my ACT(34) was way higher than the stated 32 for maximus and 30 for provost. My gpa was on the lower end but thats because i took 7 aps before my senior year. I might call them just to get an explanation.</p>

<p>@dsdude17 thanks for response. I am assuming you mean you qualify for the scholarship on merit. But, I was wondering if and when you find out if you are direct admit to fisher business school. My S put political science when he sent in application but, now has decided to change major to business. So, wondering if he needs to notify the university or apply directly to Fisher School of business? If anyone else knows please share:) thanks</p>

<p>@ icegems91 call the scholarship dept. I believe on the merit scholarship web site there is a contact number and ask them if someone can explain why you did not receive one of the merit scholarships. Couldn’t hurt to ask. Good luck!</p>
<p>Got the scholarship letter in the mail today! I got both the National Buckeye and Trustees Scholarships. </p>
<p>@nurse66 If your son wants to change his field of study from something that’s different from the major he listed on his app, you should contact the University directly. Applying directly to Fisher is just for pre-business majors who fulfilled the necessary course work. </p>
<p>In case anyone is interested, I emailed the fisher direct contact person about when they would send out the fisher direct notices based on merit, and on jan. 11 they responded and said that they would start coming out the first week of February.</p>
