<p>I would like to start a NHS chapter at my school, I'm Canadian, so there is not many in my area, at least I do not know of any!</p>

<p>So I'm just wondering - are any of you part of an NHS chapter?</p>

<p>I was thinking of asking my guidance counsellor (after summer break) to send an emails out to teachers to see who would be interested in running it as I read on the NHS website that students cannot run it themselves with just a teacher supervisor. </p>

<p>So, if any of you are part of NHS I just have a few questions:
-How often do you meet?
-What do the meetings look like? (Discussions, etc)
-Do you enjoy it?
And is there anything else interesting/useful I should know??</p>

<p>I became a member of the chapter at my school at the end of last year. I might not be too helpful.</p>

<ol>
<li>We meet about once a month.</li>
<li>They usually consist of talking about upcoming events, planning, etc.</li>
<li>Thus far I have no reason not to.</li>
