Where is everyone sending their College Plans Reporting Service papers?

I got a 229. Sending scores to Ohio State and University of Kansas. Intend to major in linguistics and international relations, w/ minor in Russian

Davidson and Claremont McKenna

i was wondering what you guys think...

i have 3 colleges im really considering right now...

Michigan State University, Western Michigan University, and Warren Wilson College (a really really random, small, private college in north carolina)

which two should i send it to? i'm more likely to actually go to WMU or MSU, since they're in-state and MUCH cheaper...but i really would love to go to WWC, and since they're smaller with not that incredible stats for the average student, would they care more about me being commended, than say MSU, where there's like 20,000 other people? and maybe offer me more scholarship money...?

but i'm sending it to two of those three colleges, anyhow.

Does anyone know what affect sending these interests letters will do? Are these the ones that the universities say "if marked as first choice" will give scholarships for? Should I send mine to my first choice (a top-tier school most liikely with a lot of commended students applying) or to the places most likely to give me money (as asked in the 2nd ?)?

Jakor--
I don't think that these colleges are the ones considered "marked first choice" b/c only select colleges participate in the program anyway--giving out scholarships, I mean. I think that comes later, if you're a finalist/semifinalist. Therefore, I don't think it matters which 2 schools you pick, as long as you like them. :)
Anyway, I got a 221 (eh) and put Brown and Hopkins. shrugs
For major/career, I put Creative Writing and Writer, though both are ambiguous and I will probably change my mind.

Princeton and UPenn. Two school that I have yet to get an ad from.

puppylover6464, there should be no doubt: go with MSU… the differences in sizes of MSU and WMU aren't going to matter that much; both are over 20,000 and when a school is that large, there's little noticeable difference... What's more, there are many, many programs Michigan State has that cater to small classes and groups of students, including freshman seminars, 3 residential colleges, etc. Given that, the choice seems easy: I couldn't see how you could choose WMU over MSU given MSU's significantly better facilities, professors, quality/diversity of fellow students and reputation, which is national/international... Not that Western Michigan is a bad school-- in fact, it's very good; the best of the Michigan "directional" schools. But MSU is so much stronger... Plus, given that you're apparently a merit scholar, you'd be catered to much more; I'm sure, but MSU than WMU... MSU really encourages brilliant students and gives them many opportunities to work closely with senior faculty often on ground-breaking research.

well the only reason i'm considering WMU is because they have this competition thing where they give away 16 full ride scholarships to incoming freshman based on academics every year. and if i could get a full ride, that'd be SWEET, since i want to go to vet school which is hella expensive.

thanks for the advice :)

puppylover, have you checked out similar scholarship programs at MSU? Also, MSU's vet school is one of the tops in the nation. I know there are special merit scholarship programs for top students at MSU, as well as slots for early/auto admissions to the vet doctoral program. You may want to check it out.

no clue.

Wellesley for sure though.
