It’s possible. If I were you I’d retake the SAT. They do this because they don’t want to count the essay. I’ve seen that formula and the 1960 score posted many times but you could call and ask.
@cortado it sounds like your calculation may be wrong - what did you get on each section?
@BobWallace 700 Reading, 770 Math, 650 Writing (43 correct, 6 incorrect, 0 omitted, Essay 8)
EDIT: I now see a separate multiple choice score for writing on a different page (which for me is a 67). Using this number, it gives me 2140.
With 2140 you are fine for NMF qualification.

Are you applying to any NMF merit schools?
@mom2collegekids yes I am! USC is my first choice, with Northeastern behind that, and then Alabama (for merit schools). Also applying to UNC, UMich, Wash St Louis, and WVU (my state school).
Jet let you know that UMich offers nothing to NMF. Just make sure it is affordable to you before applying.
