Elysia99, just add 0's to the end of those scores. What you got is comparable to a 500, 570, and 530. Which is not bad. But nowhere near what you'll need to get NM. Then again, you're a sophomore, so you've got time to pull them up a bit. ^^

Selection index for NMSF is over 200. (The exact number depends on the state.)

Ivydreamin -- I've been very impressed by the literature we've gotten from Arizona State's Honors Program. Apparently ASU made up its mind to put together a really good and attractive program -- it's like its own college within the wider school, complete with a mini campus that will be opening this fall. I think the Dean is a former Swarthmore dean. It's not completely separate, but they do seem to try to create a smaller community for the Honors kids. National Merit Finalists get pretty much a free ride -- you end up paying a few thousand a year, I think.

Benny B -- you need to go to the schools' own websites and look at their financial aid pages and search for "national merit" in their section on merit aid. If they offer a national merit scholarship, this is where they will tell you how much it's worth. It only takes a minute.
