Hi. I got a 240 on my PSAT's. What happens next? Do I automatically qualify as a nms? Don't I have to have further recommendations or fill out some kind of application? What does being a nms mean, really?
Thanks a lot.

Hi blig, i am in a similar situation, I got a 236 on the PSAT. From what I have heard, your sat score has to be "comparable" to your psat score. I am not sure what that means. Could someone verify the necessity of a comparable SAT score?

Wow, I never heard of the "comparable" factor. I got a 2340 on the SAT -- I hope that is comparable. I wasn't going to retake the test, and I seriously doubt I'd get a 2400 even if I did.

'they' just don't want there to be a huge discrepancy between your SAT and PSAT scores. Dropping 100 (and even 200) points from your SAT to your psat is fine.
