National Merit Scholarship Question

I have read on the USC website that the school offers half scholarships to National Merit finalists who list USC as the top choice. I was named a National Merit Semifinalist with a PSAT score of 231. On the finalist application, I listed USC as my top-choice school for NMF. Do I have a good shot at getting this scholarship, or am I simply one of many other students who listed USC as their first choice? Any information would be gladly appreciated, thanks.

Assuming you advance to finalist, your only remaining obstacle is to be admitted to USC. If you are admitted to USC, are a NMF and name USC as your top-choice school, *you will receive *the 1/2 tuition scholarship, currently worth about $20,000/year. http://www.usc.edu/admission/fa/private/docs/1112/uscScholarships1112v2.pdf
