<p>You will be considered based on the MA cutoff score because that is where you go to school. If MA's cutoff has not gone up you should be a Semi-finalist...haven't seen this year's cutoff scores by state. If cutoffs remain the same as last year S2 will just miss the cut-off for his school by a couple of points--historically also one of the highest, like MA.</p>
<p>Avove is true, unless you are at a boarding school. Then you have a special regional boarding school cutoff, which can be quite high.</p>
