<p>im a little confused on the post-cold war specifications</p>
<p>i did it for class, we had the option of sending it in. my two countries were israel (no signing of NPT) and egypt (signing the NPT). It was an easy pair because there is a lot of information on the conflict in the middle east. Egypt was good because it is leading the arab assault on israel for not signing. israel won't sign because everyone else has loads of chemical, biological, and "possibly" nuclear weapons. the essay was part of our final for AP Comparative Polilitics. i didn't send mine in</p>

<p>well, to define post-cold war is hard.... in essence they are both before and after the cold war. you can find some really recent stuff on both countries. there are things going on right now because the NPT is up for renewal of a lot of signatures and some middle eastern countries won't do it unless israel signs. similarly, the pre-cold war aspect is easy to fulfil because there are nuclear problems that began as early as the establishment of israel up into the the 1960 with the israeli nuclear program and continuing into today</p>
