I am confused whether a couple of my academic honors are considered school, state, or national honors.
Here are the two that I am confused about:

California Scholarship Federation (CSF): I applied through my school and it is recognized at my school, but it is a statewide organization

National Junior Classical League: My Latin teacher signed me up for it, but I am not sure if it is a school or national honor since we do not do activities for it at my school

CSF - who were you competing against? If it was something where you apply to it through your school, but there is guaranteed to be at least one winner at your school, then it’s a school honour. Who was your “competition” for this scholarship?

NJCL - I’m not sure I understand what this is, but assuming it’s an award - whom did you have to compete against to win it?

Take National Honor Society, for example. I am in that, but I was chosen out of a group of seniors at my school, rather than chosen out of a group of seniors in my state or my nation.
