How does Naviance reflect an EA deferral? If you applied EA and it’s the purple box with an X in it, which they say indicates “waitlisted”, does that actually mean the student was deferred.?
Every school gets to manage how it reports its data in Naviance. You would have to ask your counselor if that is reflected in the data set you are seeing.
My guess is that it is not and that someone deferred in an early round is shown no differently than an RD applicant. In other words, only the final decision matters and WL is for those put on the WL, not deferred.
