<p>I asked my teacher for a recommendation, and it says "Completed" on Naviance. But, when I log onto the Common App website, it says that my school forms are incomplete.</p>
<p>How does Naviance send out my teacher recommendations? Does my teacher have to send it out herself or does it go to my guidance counselor?</p>
<p>At my school we use Naviance as well, and only our counselors can send letters of rec online, teachers have to send them by mail. I’m not sure if that started this year or not.</p>
<p>If it isn’t past the deadline, I’d go ahead and ask your counselor and give your teachers stamped envelopes if it turns out you can’t send them online.</p>

<p>You need to see your counselor right away. My son’s school also used Naviance and once the teacher’s rec shows as complete in Naviance, then the counselor can submit the schools forms and they ALL go “through” to common app. together. So, I have a concern that your counselor may not have sent his school report yet either, in which case it’s holding up the teacher rec and showing “incomplete” school forms. Is there suppose to be a second teacher rec that perhaps your counselor is waiting on before sending the school forms? That could be the reason for his delay. Either way, talk to your counselor asap and get it worked out tomorrow. It’s ok to have these recs and school forms be slightly delayed, but this needs to be taken care of quickly.</p>
<p>Now, if you find out that the school forms were sent, but not the teacher rec then you can send get paper copies to the teacher asap as the other poster is saying --print them off for her/him and give them with a stamped/addressed envelope to the schools’ admissions office and your HS as return address. Ask her to make copies in case you need to do this for more schools.</p>
<p>No use in second guessing. Call guidance to find out how it works for your school. For d’s school teacher’s letter of recommendation were sent first on- line. Guidance only sent school forms and guidance recommendation once they rec’d confirmation from student that the app was submitted. Once the first application was sent everything was pretty much ready to go for subsequent apps and the turn around in our school was like 24 hours.</p>
<p>Similar issues! We submitted the Common App. from home. Next we went to school and sat with the counselor as he submitted school forms through eDocs on Naviance. He was unable to “click” on the teacher recommendations to send them along with transcripts, school report, etc… eDocs on Naviance show that the recommendations are complete but we couldn’t submit them. Does this mean that they have already been submitted? I have no idea how this works. Do they go directly to our Common App. schools from Naviance or do they go to the Common App.? I can’t find any way to check how this works and my counselor and I have spent HOURS trying to figure this out. Early decision deadlines are next week and this is urgent! Thank you!</p>
