^Agreed, would love to see him win one, and SOON. But Lakers will be really tough draw, maybe if Lopez was back and Bynum was more injured they would have better odds. The Lakers should win the WCF though.

LeBronda imo lacks a true winner’s mentality. I’ve watched this guy in these 7 years, and say he has amazing physical talents and capabilities. Might be the best I’ve ever witnessed, and possibly of all time. However, it’s clear that when times call for clutch situations, he doesn’t step up.

^He has the most made buckets with less than 24 seconds on the clock this season. He is clutch when he wants to be. Sure, he falters at times, just as Kobe has in these playoffs (see OKC series). He threw the last game to get to a game 7. If they lose tonight, then he has decided that the Cavs do not have enough pieces to win a title if he resigns.

That there shows me more of a poor character than before. If you’re going to throw games and be uncaring about it, that’s pretty bad. All superstars falter. I agree with that. But Kobe wouldn’t just falter and go down like that. He goes down shooting 83853053059035 shots, because he hates losing that much. I don’t see that hatred in LeBron.

inane characterization is inane

I love how Kobe’s (not so infrequently used) ability to shoot his team out of a game when he’s ice cold is now a virtue

@MIThopefyl16: lol sometimes Kobe’s shooting all those shots do hurt the team. And Kobe threw a playoff game vs. the Suns when he flat out refused to shoot in the 2nd half. I was saying that Stern had LBJ take this to a Game 7, from a business-persepctive, it would be best for the NBA. All stars at some point seem to not do their best in certain games. Like how people want to go for records @ home instead of on the road, and sometimes letting series get to a Game 5 back home so they play in front of the home crowd, and this extra home playoff game brings in even more money for the team. Basically, to me, it’s coming down to dollars, that is LeBron’s influence on the series.

lets go boston.
I dislike LeBron.
Last game with Cav’s tonight!

lol that is true. If it is a business motive, I will be extremely disappointed in basketball, well I was already back in 2002.

Cleveland down 4. LeBron only has a game high in points and twice as many rebounds anyone else. The 6-0 run he just went on is the reason they’re close though.

Lol LeBron better keep this up if he pushes it to a Game 7 for an epic showdown. But that last TO and Pierce clutching another 3 ball just pushed that lead. I want him to totally take over, forget passing the ball now. Like TCBH said, LeBron decided to ball, and revitalized the team.

10-0 Boston run

this game’s over

I’m pretty sure that TO by James should have been a kick ball on the defender, but what can one expect in the NBA :/

The rest of the Cavs are playing like crap

what a bizarre ending

[It’ll be interesting](<a href=“http://sportsnstuff18.files.■■■■■■■■■■■■■/2009/11/lebron-in-newyork1.jpg"]It’ll”>http://sportsnstuff18.files.■■■■■■■■■■■■■/2009/11/lebron-in-newyork1.jpg)

What was the final score?

[NBA - Cleveland Cavaliers/Boston Celtics Box Score Thursday May 13, 2010 - Yahoo! Sports](http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore;_ylt=AuVJmpL49508OTMPjniP8vC8vLYF?gid=2010051302)

This team straight-up quit. I mean James tried, but looked like he realized a loss was inevitable, and figured that it was not worth fighting just to lose. I applaud him for 7 great years in Cleveland, should he leave. If I was LBJ, I would go to Chicago or NJ. Miami is my #3 option for him.

His teammates basically choked, his coach did a miserable job, and he can’t beat an entire hot Celtics roster.

stopped playing the last 90 seconds. That’s heartless. They don’t need to win with an attitude like that. LeBron pulled that jersey off so fast though lol.

It was surprised to see how good of an option NJ would be. If he really wanted to win a championship he could sign there for the NBA minimum, with Bosh taking the max slot. Then they add in, say, John Wall or Evan Turner from the draft. That could give them a possible starting five of:

Devin Harris
Wall/Turner
James
Bosh
Lopez

They would probably improve by 50 wins.

@MIThopeful16: Lol when I saw that happen, I figured it would be the last time he’d want seeing him in a Cavs jersey until he had won a bunch of rings.

@TCBH: I know! That starting five is quite impressive, but I think that Wall would eventually take the starting PG job and Harris would then come off the the bench. If they got Turner, they have a legit large SG. I am pretty sure they can afford 2 max contracts actually, and that owner is willing to go over the cap to sign some solid bench players (not hugely expensive or anything). That would be a 55+ win team next year. But I think that Chicago would allow him to win next year, just because the team is more complete. Also, Bosh and Lopez might not like having to share shots in NJ. But Noah doesn’t have to take a bunch of shots, he’s the type to defer and collect boards. I really want Bosh + LBJ to sign together, have said since the 2008 Olympics that together, they’d bring rings.

Wow, can’t believe it’s been a month since this thread died. The NBA playoffs are so ****ing long
