my guess its about a 45% acceptance rate this year maybe a little lower
Oh ok, so there should be more spots regular/waitlist?
well idk how many people theyre actually accepting but they accept way more than class size so you need A LOT of people to decline offer to enroll in order to get off the waitlist
Ohhhhhh, I understand
has anyone heard back for the College of Engineering- computer science intent?
on your student account before the AED message was there just a welcome message?
i really doubt its gonna come out today. historically they come out on fridays, i’d probably guess tmrw
yup
They’re starting to add new articles about admitted students and what to expect for fall 2021 their website so definetely tmr.
They already have admitted students, chances are they’re adding new articles for people admitted to EA. Decisions might be tomorrow, but those things are not related in any way.
There is an article for people waitlisted this year
thats so strange, I remember EA that they didnt release any articles about deferrals this year until the day decisions came out…it must be soon
They did, the deferred questions is dated Mar 20 and the EA decisions came out on the 22. I didn’t know there was an article before the decisions came out
oh okay my bad
No, you are completely fine!
someone might have already said this but I got accepted EA in January and I didn’t get my AED message until late on the Thursday before decisions released. I was freaking out because I thought that 100% meant I didn’t get in but it ended up popping up later, so don’t panic if you don’t have it yet. I think some people weren’t even seeing the message until that Friday when decisions came out. I think the message is sent out by major, but I can’t confirm that. Either way, if you have it congrats, if you don’t yet then don’t worry that’s not a good or bad thing.
If you don’t mind me asking, what major are you?
oh that makes me feel much better thank you! Im hoping they release decisions tomorrow
business administration in finance
Thankyou so much! That makes me feel a little relieved
no problem but honestly I recommend that you don’t keep refreshing the page waiting for an AED message because it’ll just stress you out. I refreshed that page for like 5 hours in January and it was unnecessarily stressful. You’ll most likely get to find out your official decision tomorrow, so I know it’s hard, but try not to worry yourself to death. good luck everyone!!
