Decisions were released early around this time last year on the 18th. Has anyone heard any good news yet? Son anxiously waiting!!!
Still waiting… unfortunately
Since they usually send out decisions on Fridays, I would imagine that they would probably release later on March 24 . (since we did not hear back today) I’m really anxious to hear back, especially after being deferred. Guess we’ll just have to cross our fingers for one more week. (Best of luck to you guys!)
Let’s hope it’s soon @daisyflower !! I have looked back for the past couple of years and had just a small hope that it would have been today like last year. Oh well, hoping for good news for all!
Wolfpaw Portal just changed a few minutes ago and the new decision release date is now 4/1. What the heck?? We have waited long enough and my nerves can’t take it!!! So I doubt they are releasing decisions on a Saturday
@MISHELL4545 The latest it can be is 3/30. Their website specifically states decisions will be released by March 30. They also announced on their twitter page. That might not be accurate, although they usually release at lest a week before the 30th. I’m not sure why it is being delayed this year so much.
I sure hope so @annamanna ! Sorry for the venting
@annamanna: my guess for the different release time is due to the increased # of applications from the Common App.
4/1 is April Fools Day. I wonder if they are toying with us and will release today???
I wish @NCSU1993 !!!
Maybe they just got sick of everyone calling to ask
According to the other post they will still release the decisions tomorrow afternoon (probably around 4ish.) They just changed the date on wolfpaw for internal purposes. If that was what admissions said today, then hopefully it will still come out tomorrow. Either way, it seems like they are releasing awfully late this year.
Good luck to all applicants! NC State is a great school and I am praying for a great outcome today!
@MISHELL4545 Do you currently have a child at NC State? If so, Could you please comment on the pros and cons of attending. Just trying to make final decisions Is this your son’s first choice?
@hbh2017 my daughter attended NC State and loved it very much! She was in the Leadership Village community and they were able to do great things like Habitat for Humanity rebuilds in New Orleans, etc… State has a good vibe and the student body has a great school spirit and pride. Very inclusive and lots of opportunities to get involved. It is his first choice, so fingers crossed for good news!
its killing me. Im still waiting for the decision
My son GOT IN!!! Wooo Hooooo!!!
got rejected. Great.
