Thank you. That is great information. Our hope is that our daughter selects a great program to fulfill her dreams of becoming an Aerospace Engineer.
P.S. Daughter just got accepted to the University of Miami’s Aerospace Engineering. Miami has 49,000 applicants with only 2,100 admitted.
That’s crazy you didn’t get in! You have about the same stats as me and i got in. I got waitlisted at UNC yesterday so we are switched. I guess it really just is the luck of the draw sometimes.
Wow, what county are you in? My son deferred too, Wake County.
How are you doing?
That is crazy. I’m so sorry. Just send in your new grades, you’ll probably get in during regular decision. My son was deferred last year and got in - with lower stats than what you have. His counselor also sent in a letter…not sure if that helped. Don’t give up if you really want to go to State!

I’m wondering how that works also. It seems there’s a separate application for scholarships. Says have to be “admitted”. I assume that means just
accepted and not having sent a deposit, etc. Anyone know?
i am in wake county, too! it is kind of a bummer and a bit annoying, but i guess i wouldn’t have gone anyways.
thank you! though fortunately, i was hoping to study neuroscience in college, so unc is a better match for me.
yeah, it’s kind of crazy! i hope you get good news from UNC if that is where you want to go. and congratulations on state!!!
