<p>I got into NCSSM. So excited! Glad that I was following this post because I would have waited until Monday and missed the deadline. Wonder if anyone else will miss it because I didn’t get an email announcing the posting. Anyone get an email?</p>
<p>Question- I clicked that I wanted to accept their offer than hit “save.” It automatically goes to the top of the screen, but it doesn’t change. Doesn’t say anything like “thanks for your response- we look forward to having you in NCSSM.” Anyone else get this same thing?</p>

<p>@Mich: I didn’t. I followed this thread and found out. I hope they release an email or something before there is backlash or controversy. And about the confirming the spot, it told me that NCSSM recorded my response and thanked me for my response.</p>
<p>@Luther: I appreciate your tips on CC. You always seem to provide some great knowledge about the school that everyone should look into. My school is about 200 leagues below NCSSM and I feel that NCSSM is best for me. I have already done planning for NCSSM and my school like you said in another thread. To sum this all up, thanks </p>

<p>Good thing folks on this board let us know results are in. We are on vacation and had not checked the site, she had only been following the SVSM information (and on that thread heard that NCSSM results were posted). Unfortunatley, our daughter is a nonfinalist. But, she is rapidly writing an appeal before heading off to an amusement park with her siblings and cousins for the day. She has some fight in her and is an optimist, so she is hoping the appeal works. But, we are from a competitive district and she was planning to continue in her current school, while hoping to get into NCSSM.
We shall see! She said appeals decisions would come in next week. More waiting.

<p>That’s my guess as well. I think they’ve done away with the waitlist in recent years and have instead opted for the appeals since they serve the same basic function. In previous years everyone who was on the waitlist went to welcome day, but I don’t think everyone who appeals goes.</p>
<p>My friend with WAY “worse” STATS got in . . . sooo . . . . hmm . . . I have very great confidence in my application next year lol . . .</p>
