<p>Hey people! I’m applying too… though I have absolutely no idea what my chances are of getting in. I’m in CD 8, and my discovery day thing is March 1st! Does anyone really know anything about the math test we have to take? I’m in Calc BC so I don’t remember much from geometry… and I never exactly took Algebra 2 D: Is there something in particular I should be studying? Thanks!(: </p>
<p>@IceeSky - From what I’ve been told, it includes Alg 1, Geo, and Alg 2. </p>
<p>@IceeSky My school does not let us test out of Alg. 2 or PreCal, so I’ve taken both of those. I would just look through the standards covered in Alg2 and see if you can do them. I would also Google, “NC Final Exams Algebra 2 Released Forms” (or something to that effect) and see if you can do all of the questions on there. </p>

<p>I heard that for this coming year, NCSSM isn’t going to be tuition-free any more. Is this true? D:</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure it’s still tuition free. Under the FAQs section of the website it says, “There are no fees associating with applying, being accepted or attending NCSSM.” @WhiteRabbit98</p>

<p>NCSSM is a public school, run by tax-payer dollars. The purpose of the school is to give an opportunity to gifted students without hindering them with expenses. I think that the school will always be free. </p>
<p>I hope so, normal boarding schools are crazy expensive! </p>

My friend who is always late to class, was about 5 minutes early, and we are blaming him for the snow. >:) I have school on Saturday nowwwww :-q </p>
