I've been wondering what larger firms/businesses consider when they look at a recent graduate from a lesser-known college (UNCC) vs. a more well-known one (NCSU)? Both schools have their benefits, but I am having difficulty deciding which to attend for grad school. UNCC has vastly greater facilities than NCSU, and seems to be much more organized (administration-wise). UNCC also seems to provide a greater amount of freedom when it comes to personal explorations in the design field. NCSU, however, seems to have a more structured approach in their grad program, with little room for personal exploration. If anyone has gone through this, or a similar process, what are your thoughts?
