I have been admitted to all three universities but I am struggling a lot with choosing between the three. I am interested in getting an MBA or JD down the road. I want to study either math, poli sci, or some type of business related courses. How do these schools compare academically amongst each other in what I want to study? Also is there anything else of note that distinguishes one college from the rest?

I would say that Gtown is a bit above the others if you’re thinking poli sci because of its location in DC. If you’re leaning towards business, the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame has been ranked 1st in undergraduate business education for 4 years in a row. I don’t know a whole lot about vandy other than it is a great school but I’m not sure about what its strongest areas are. Other differences I can think of include location (Gtown and Vandy are in larger cities while the surrounding area at ND is probably a lot quieter). And if you are a sports fan, they are quite different in that way. The sports teams at ND and Gtown are generally much stronger plus I’ve heard that the school spirit surrounding these teams is much higher at these schools. Also, you should consider the religious aspect of the schools if that is something that is important to you.
