Hi everyone, I'm just graduating HS in a few weeks, and I'm thinking about spending money for school next year.

I need a new laptop, as my old HP Pavilion is dying on me now worth terrible battery life and wear and tear over the years. I was thinking of getting either a 13 or 15 inch MBP. Is it worth it for a computer science major and chem. classes on the side? I know it is expensive, but I have been working and saving money to purchase a new laptop. It won't break my bank as I have money in savings that I am not touching.

And if it is worth it, should I get the 13 or 15 inch? I've been using a 15.6 in. laptop and 21 in. desktop for a long time, and haven't needed to think about portability and power trade-offs until now.

Assume I am typing essays, doing class projects, etc., and playing a game or two here like League of Legends or StarCraft II (not expecting high performance, but haven't seen the 650M in action).

Also, I've used Windows for the most part of my life and enjoy Windows 7, but I've used OSX for 3 years in high school with a video production class and love it as well. Thank you guys!
