Need advice and help for the SAT

Hello guys, I am preparing for the upcoming SAT that will be in October. About 20 days later, I will start my senior year of highschool and I will have a lot of works to do. I was preparing for my SATs and the first time I took was below average. October will be my second and last chance to take the SAT. And a few days ago, I took the full lenght SAT test from College Board. My scores were Math: 640 Writing: 620 (with 10 on the essay) Reading 320. I know its a bit weird but on this practice test I just guessed almost everything. The first time I took the actual SAT, I got around 500 in Math and Writing and about 400 in Reading. I think that my practice full length test scores from College Board are not my real skills. I might get lower than that on the actual SAT.

All I want is to higher my Critical Reading section up to 600s. I know its nearly impossible for me as an international student to get a full ride to college. But I really, desperately need a full ride or else I cannot go because of the cost. My reading skills are low and my vocabs are very weak. In one section of CR, I have about 80+ vocab words that I dont know. And not just that, the reading pased passage questions are hard to me.

Any advice from highering my CR section?

Thanks

With CR comes great responsibilities and work… well from 320, it is implied that you most likely are struggling to read passages and attain information at ease, same with your sentence completions. If you take Practice tests (reading section only) from the CB blue book, what is your end time and how many questions have you omitted? If omitted, which type of question was it (sc or passage)?

Have a dictionary handy and look up every word you don’t know. If you see words repeat, try to recall their meanings. You should also buy Direct Hits books to help with vocabulary.
