Right now I'm apply to CSU East Bay, SF state, San Jose State, University of San Francisco and Holy Names University. I'm looking to transfer in for the Spring of 2011.

I had originally planned to transfer to a UC but Merced is the only one accepting for spring... so that's off my list.

CSU apps are all tentative for the spring right now but just in case I do get accepted, do you think I will take longer than 2.5 years to finish my BA in Sociology? With the budget cuts and all?

My other choice would be a private university. I just found out that Holy Names University in the Oakland hills would take all of my classes if I finish IGETC (which I will). I am also confident that I will finish up my degree in 2.5 years. Which would make me graduate in 2013, which is fine. The only part I don't like is the area. The Oakland hills and any place around hwy 13 is nice but it doesn't seem like anything happens there...

Then there is USF. VERRRY expensive and not too sure about my classes transferring...but I did like the tour (though it was long) and it's in SF, which means it's less boring. Heck, maybe I could get a job on campus part-time.

Oh, and another random question...do students work in the dining halls of CSUs?

I would greatly appreciate any comments or advice. Thanks!
